men in waiting roomWith the world in transition, Christians and non-Christians alike have been affected in different ways.  News media – alternative and mainstream, has propagated fear.  Fear of the H1N1 flu, fear of the H1N1 vaccine, fear of losing our sovereignty, fear of FEMA camps.  It is true that we are in a state of change, but are Christians to act as non-believers and give way to our fears?  No.  We don’t need to.  Our reaction to the world’s upheaval should be spiritual:

“Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. “Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. “But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. “So do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.” (Matthew 10:28-31 NASB)

That about says it all, Christian. Trust God that no matter what the outcome, we will be given special grace through it all.  He will never leave us or forsake us.  Even if we go through the Valley of the Shadow of death, He will be our guide. Have faith.  Put your cares on Jesus.

I began this blog because I have watched alternative news for some time now and the comment sections have become increasingly anti-Christian.  Although I believe sites such as Infowars has done a great deal of good in awakening a sleeping public, I also believe one must refer to other sources to get a balanced view.  Infowars reflects the biases of its originator, Alex Jones, and while I respect most of his opinions, I believe he leaves out crucial areas of information, such as Jesuit connections to the NWO.  More on that in other articles.  In any case, Christians should not panic.  When the world faints from fear, you are to look up! Let me encourage you by the Word of God:

“But when these things begin to take place, straighten up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” (Luke 21:28 NASB)

Yes, if we have kept watch, we can see the world changing before us.  We are sensing the changing of the seasons, but we have hope.  The world can only tremble.

“For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.”  (1 Thessalonians 5:2-6 NASB)

Christian, we are aware of the season of our faith.  We are in the waiting room now, awaiting His return.  Keep vigilant, draw closer to God.  Our time of redemption is near and our Savior is mighty.  Whatever befalls us, He will go before us:

“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.” (Deuteronomy 31:6 NASB)

 His Word is true.
