THE JEWISH MESSIAH AND “NEW ISRAEL”

January 23, 2010

For centuries, Jewish households have forbidden the name of Yeshua or shortened it and used it as a curse word, Yeshu.  Generation after generation has closed their minds and hearts to the truth about Him.  What I believe is happening today is that in this generation of young Jewish men and women many are looking beyond tradition for the first time and seeking their own answers about Yeshua. But it’s much more than that.  I believe we are seeing the veil[1] being lifted in preparation for the greatest awakening of the times.  Israel will finally be able to say, “Baruch Ha’ba Ba’ shem Adonai” or “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord” and Yeshua will finally be recognized and claimed as their own.   As “the time of the Gentiles” draws to a close, we will see God do a wonderful work in Israel and in the hearts of the Jewish people in general.  There may already be secret believers who are afraid to admit their faith for fear of reprisals from family and religious leaders.  We are in preparation for His return.

In recent times, a wave of anti-missionaries have come on the scene to “protect” the religion of Talmudic Judaism from Christian proselytizing.  I used to read the objections from anti-missionary Tovia Singer and refute them for practice in witnessing!  Now, it’s the lovable Schmuely Boteach who has become the gatekeeper of Talmudism and in some respects, the chief Pharisee of today.

I was surprised to learn that Jewish children are even taught from the New Testament in Jewish schools so they will be able to give Christians a reason for their unbelief in Yeshua!  But this one will surely backfire for they underestimate the power of God’s Word!  Watch for the spiritual awakening of Israel and the fulfillment of God’s promise of salvation to them.

“For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?” (Romans 11:15 NASB)

Yeshua is truly “THE KING OF ISRAEL.”

[1] “But their minds were hardened; for until this very day at the reading of the old covenant the same veil remains unlifted, because it is removed in Christ. But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” (2 Corinthians 3:14-16 NASB)

Here is a video that tells you how to find the Messiah – JUST ASK GOD TO SHOW YOU AND READ THE HOLY SCRIPTURES – i.e.  The Bible.

Please check out RPP for more on Messianic Jews and the anti-missionary industry:

Many anti-missionary groups are controlled by Lubavitchers who believe in another whom they claim to be the divine, death-defying Messiah – Menachem Mendel Schneerson- and not Yeshua!

This is true, but also realize that there is a schism within the Chabad movement. The leaders themselves are not all convinced that Schneerson was the Messiah. The actual number of the Schneerson sect is declining.

I have a recommendation also. A new ministry to the Jewish people – Tovia for Israel. We know the man personally and he is a messianic Jew of unquestionable character and a real heart for following Yeshuah closely. Tovia means “the goodness of God.”
